It is my belief that, no matter what faith/religion/understanding you may have, we are all one and a part of one another. Starting from the top (going clockwise to the middle), the symbols are: 1) The Egyptian Ankh 2) The Hindu Aum/Om 3) The Taoist Yin and Yang 4) The Jewish Star of David 5) The Buddhist Bhavacakra/Wheel of Life 6) The Islamic Moon Crescent 7) The Christian Cross 8) The Unity Wings I've always been more spiritual than religious and I love exploring life from a more metaphysical aspect than a traditionally fundamentalist one. I have no one "religion" or set belief system. I feel that I will always be learning until I am called back Home. One of my favorite sayings is "Don't Believe Everything You Think". Evolution starts with being open to learning and growing. I believe in God and I think of God as a prism of infinite colors. As far as I am concerned, no one belief can encompass ALL of what God Is. I also believe that, for every person that has ever lived, now lives and will live, there is a sliver of understanding of God within them. No one has a FULL understanding of the wholeness of God/The Universe. To me, that's like an ant thinking it has a full understanding of everything about the galaxy. I can and do always learn from everything (nature) and every one (souls) around me... even those who are self-proclaimed nihilists/agnostics and atheists. With that said, I obviously do not subscribe to the notion of racism, in that anyone is inherently "better" than anyone else because of skin tone, culture, lineage, and so forth. I don't think anyone's religious preference makes them "better" or "worse" than anyone else. Whatever works for you... I live and let live. I just would hope & pray that whatever you believe in brings you closer to a more perfect YOU and inspires you to be a better neighbor/friend/son/daughter/husband/wife/brother/sister... etc. The Golden Rule: "Treat Others The Way You Would Like Them To Treat You." Period. That's the long and short of it, for me. If everyone in the world did this, then the world would truly be... ONE.
